Identifies a driving surface material. Each type defines a unique set of friction, resistance, and deformation properties that modify tyre grip and slip behaviour.

Fields

Gravel = 1

Loose gravel — medium grip and high deformation.

Ice = 4

Solid ice — very low grip and minimal rolling resistance.

Mud = 2

Wet mud — low grip and high rolling resistance.

Snow = 3

Hard-packed snow — low grip and moderate deformation.

Tarmac = 0

Dry tarmac — high grip and low rolling resistance.

WetTarmac = 5

Wet tarmac — reduced grip from surface water film.
